A family business
Casa Bella is very much a family business with Andrew celebrating 20 years of ownership this year. Wife Sarah and her daughter Lily manage our separate Gelateria on Lake Road during the tourist season, while Matthew, Andrew’s son, makes all our gelato for both venues at a bespoke premises in nearby Braithwaite.
Our food
Homemade and local are themes that run throughout everything we make, with local flavour and authentic taste the foundation of everything we produce. Our menus offer traditional Italian dishes alongside Head Chef Guini’s daily specials and smaller dishes for the little ones.

Casa Bella is located in the heart of Keswick’s busy town centre. Set across three separate areas you can enjoy spacious family dining or a meal for two in a quiet corner. Our bar area and gelateria create a relaxed atmosphere ideal for pre-dinner drinks, a light lunch or a quick coffee catch up with friends.
Gelato!
We make our gelato using traditional Italian techniques, which Matthew learned from attending the Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna. We offer up to 16 different flavours using local ingredients and Matthew has been known to experiment with a few unusual options such as matcha green tea and blue stilton.
Gelato is available as long as the restaurant is open, so you can stop by whenever you feel the urge!
